Water will do the trick!

How should you clean up a liquid spill on your carpet? First, You should immediately grab a towel; place it over the spill and firmly adding downward pressure to soak up the spill on the carpet. Rotate the towel to an unsoiled area and continue to soak up the spilled liquid until there is no more transfer of liquid to the towel. Next, if you see discoloration on the carpet from the spill get clean towel and a cup of water. Pour a little water on the area and repeat the first step. Continue to do this until your carpet coloring is back to its original color. This method also applies for rugs. 

Blot, Do not Wipe!
