First, You should immediately grab a towel; place it over the spill and firmly adding downward pressure to soak up the spill on the carpet. Rotate the towel to an unsoiled area and continue to soak up the spilled liquid until there is no more transfer of liquid to the towel. Next, if you see discoloration on the carpet from the spill get clean towel and a cup of water. Pour a little water on the area and repeat the first step.
